Excepting his debut Vellipomakey, actor Vishwak Sen has earned a fan-base exclusively for his aggressive, unabashed on-screen persona across films like Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, Paagal, Falaknuma Das and Paagal, to name a few. The actor, who's awaiting the release of Ori Devuda tomorrow, took an interesting decision by going against his usual image with the romantic comedy Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam earlier this year, playing the role of a subdued youngster.

In a chat with OTTplay.com, the actor explained his decision to choose Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam. "With every film I do, I want to surprise myself, try something new and explore uncharted terrains. My wall (pointing his finger towards his wall in his office comprising his film posters) is full of such characters and there's no space to add more images (laughs). I have a certain plan for my career in this phase and do as many varied films as possible."

"Only until a certain phase in my career, I can afford to experiment. I am trying to fulfil that desire and not have any regrets later. I am very happy to be in this space and want to continue this momentum. After I establish a firm foundation to my career, I may want to get into the number game and try to understand the game behind turning a superstar," Vishwak said while tirelessly promoting Ori Devuda across various mediums and regions in Telugu states.

Vishwak Sen's previous film Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, directed by former cinematographer Vidyasagar Chinta, also starred Rukshar Dhillon and Ritika Nayak. The film is currently streaming on aha. Meanwhile, Oh My Kadavule, the Tamil hit that inspired Ori Devuda, can be watched on ZEE5. The original had featured Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh and Vani Bhojan.
