From being a radio jockey to a content creator on YouTube, and acting in web series, Bollywood films and teleplay, Prajakta Koli has done it all and achieved huge success. As her new teleplay Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti releases, the actress opens up about her journey as a content creator.

Asked about how she explores the different mediums, including a teleplay now, Prajakta told OTTplay, "It is a great time for creators in any space and format. We have finally gotten rid of those clutches. The lines are blurring and every story is finding a space and audience. This is a great time. It feels great to be a content creator and performer at a time when we have a great pool of content. We are spoilt for choice, in a great way. Today, I can have my own show, podcast, act in a big-budget film, star in a web series and also be part of a teleplay! This is definitely the way ahead."

Speaking about he teleplay, Prajakta added, "The beauty of a teleplay is that earlier a play could only be watched by 200 people, but a teleplay that is released on a platform like Zee Theatre will be viewed by thousands of people."

The actress says that Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti gave her the chance to bring out the 90s child in her. She said, "It was a lot of fun to play a character in the 90s style. I have grown up watching 90s films, which we all loved. So, for the three days that I shot for Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti, the 90s kid in me came alive."

Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti, directed by Akarsh Khurana, is a teleplay based on Shakespeare's classic comedy The Taming of the Shrew. It also stars Shikha Talsania, Adhaar Khurana and Chaitnya Sharma. It will be available to stream on Zee Theatre from February 19.
