But things changed when she decided to romance star heroes who are much older in age. The films are Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy and Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya which have become blockbuster hits at the box office.

Both these films have been produced by Mythri Makers and they have shelled out big money when it comes to the remunerations. We have come to know exclusively that they paid Shruthi Haasan 2.8 crores each for Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. This is a huge amount considering the position in which Shruthi Haasan before the film.

With these films, Shruthi bagged big bucks and more than money, her career has also changed for good and she is once again in demand and producers are after Shruthi to sign her for big hero films. The word is that Shruthi has already okayed a star hero film which will be announced soon.

In Hindi, Shruthi Haasan is yet to sign a film but she plays the main lead in Salaar that has Prabhas in a key role. This film will be a Pan-India release and will surely take Shruthi Haasan's craze to another level. For now, she is super happy and is basking in the glory of her massive Sankranthi hits.
