Flask to have a theatrical release in June
Reports state that the film will be premiering in theatres in the coming month. So far, Saiju Kurup's another film, Written & Directed by God and Suresh Gopi's Janaki v/s State of Kerala have announced their release dates in June. Ranjith Sajeev-starrer United Kingdom of Kerala will also hit the big screen on June 20. A confirmed release date is expected in the coming days.
Cast and crew of Flask
Suresh Krishna, Siddarth Bharathan also play pivotal roles in this movie, along with Aswathy Sreekanth and Balachandran Chullikkad. Rahul Riji Nair, who is known for his films such as Keedam and Kho-Kho, is directing this movie. His most recent work was Jai Mahendran. The director has penned the screenplay for Flask himself. Saiju Kurup's latest film, Daveed is now streaming on ZEE5.
The film’s wrap up was announced by the director who shared a photograph on his Instagram featuring the lead actors and crew in February this year. He took to Instagram to share a note of gratiutude. "After every pack up party, I feel as if life hits a sudden reset button. There’s a sense of longing for more, a tired body but a mind buzzing with memories. I kind of get lost in them. It takes sometime to get life back to normalcy! Each one of this team, stood beside me like a rock to make this dream possible," he wrote.
Jayakrishnan Vijayan has helmed the camera work, while Christy Sebastian is the editor. Sidhartha Pradeep has composed music for Flask. The makers of the film have not yet disclosed any more information on the genre or plot, but further information, including a trailer, should be available soon.
