Four More Shots Please! is one of the most loved Indian shows and has remained relevant over the years, even earning an International Emmy nomination. As fans eagerly await its new season, the makers have surprised them with a new show on Amazon Prime Video titled Ziddi Girls. Described as a story about stubborn, fearless, and fabulous young women of Matilda House, here’s everything you need to know about the show and its release date.

Prime Video has announced the premiere date for its upcoming original young adult series, Ziddi Girls. Produced by Pritish Nandy under the banner of Pritish Nandy Communications, the show is created by Rangita Pritish Nandy and Ishita Pritish Nandy, known for Four More Shots Please!. The series is directed by Shonali Bose and written by Vasant Nath and Neha Veena Sharma.

A college drama centered around identity, friendships, and self-discovery, the show blends entertainment with thought-provoking narratives. It features a talented cast of newcomers, including Atiya Tara Nayak, Umang Bhadana, Zaina Ali, Deeya Damini, and Anupriya Caroli, alongside acclaimed actors Simran, Nandita Das, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Lillete Dubey, and Revathy. The eight-episode Hindi original series is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video worldwide on February 27.

Ziddi Girls captures the essence of youth—idealistic, bold, yet uncertain—as a group of Gen Z freshers enter a prestigious Delhi college, navigating their dreams and the realities of adulthood. The series explores their journey through love, heartbreak, rebellion, hope, and disillusionment, ultimately celebrating the power of friendship and sisterhood.

The creators, Rangita and Ishita Pritish Nandy, shared their excitement:"Prime Video and we go way back with the internationally Emmy-nominated Four More Shots Please!, another story about female friendships set in Mumbai.
