Aspirants Season 3 (Prime Video)

Aspirants Season 3 shifts the focus from Mukherjee Nagar’s UPSC preparation grind to the real-world pressures of “surviving the system.” Backed by The Viral Fever and directed by Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish, the season maintains its dual-timeline setting, following Abhilash (Naveen Kasturia), now a district magistrate, who is going through a professional crisis and revisiting a past tinged with rivalry, which has led the trailer to call it "childish".

Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (ZEE5 - OTTplay Premium)

Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (2026) is a Telugu romantic comedy starring Ravi Teja as Ram, a winemaker who begins a casual relationship with Manasa (Ashika Ranganath) in Spain while concealing his marriage to Balamani (Dimple Hayathi). When Manasa arrives in Hyderabad, leaving a guilt-ridden Ram scrambling to juggle both relationships in a narrative powered by situational comedy.

Funky (Netflix)

Directed by KV Anudeep, the Telugu meta-comedy Funky follows Komal (Vishwak Sen), an eccentric filmmaker whose debut project’s budget balloons from Rs. 4 crore to Rs. 40 crore. After producer Sudarshan (Narsh) suffers a stress-related health crisis, his daughter Chitra (Kayadu Lohar) orders Komal to complete the film with just Rs. 1 crore, triggering chaotic cost-cutting and industry satire.

Landlord (ZEE5 - OTTplay Premium)

Landlord is a 2026 Kannada-language period action drama directed by and starring Duniya Vijay. The film focuses on the theme of feudal oppression in 1980s–90s rural Karnataka. The film is set in the rural regions of Kolar (specifically, the village of Hulidurga) during the 1980s-90s, highlighting a time when the landed gentry held absolute power over laboring classes.

Naangal (Sun NXT - OTTplay Premium)

Naangal (2025) is a Tamil-language semi-autobiographical film directed by Avinash Prakash, which offers a poignant, often uncomfortable look at a dysfunctional family living in Ooty between 1998 and 2002. The Taj Story (2025) is a controversial courtroom drama starring Paresh Rawal as Vishnu Das, a veteran tour guide at the Taj Mahal. After a drunken outburst about the monument’s “true history” goes viral and costs him his job, Vishnu launches a legal battle claiming the Taj Mahal was originally a Hindu temple known as Tejo Mahalaya.

Zootopia 2 (JioHotstar - OTTplay Premium)

In Zootopia 2, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde reunite to track the elusive Gary De’Snake, uncovering a conspiracy against the city’s climate walls.
