Rajat Bedi was seen on Farah Khan's recent podcast, where he opened up about his low point in Canada and how The Ba**ds of Bollywood did not just give him back his Hindi cinema journey but also launched his son. Rajat revealed that his son assisted Aryan on the sets of The Ba**ds of Bollywood. This was his first big break into glamour. "My son was assisting Aryan during the shoot," Bedi told Farah Khan.

Rajat Bedi had been launched into Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan's Zamaana Deewana. During his time in Canada, Rajat Bedi was working on Punjabi movies successfully, but missing the adrenaline rush he got with his Bollywood career. That is when he met SRK again and instantly had tears in his eyes over the fond memories. "Even though I was producing Punjabi films, my heart ached for Bollywood. I used to tell people, ‘Sir, if there’s anything suitable for me, please let me know. I want to make a comeback," Rajat Bedi recalled telling SRK. A few days later, Aryan Khan's team gave him the call to offer The Ba***ds of Bollywood and thus, Rajat as well as his son found their big break into Hindi cinema.
