Fubar: Arnold Schwarzenegger is back and still at the top of his game

Arnold Schwarzenegger is all set to make a fiery comeback to the action scene again, made all the more special by the fact that it marks his web series debut. The actor will headline his first ever web series, Fubar, an action comedy that is set to stream on Netflix.

The makers recently unveiled a teaser for the film, which sees Arnold at home in action, slow walking from explosions, high speed car chases and of course looking suave on a motorbike. The series also promises to make the best use of Arnold’s comedic skills as well, a glimpse of which we see in the teaser.

Netflix India shared the teaser with the caption “Arnold Schwarzenegger is back to carry out a top-secret, very messed-up spy mission! Catch him starring in his first ever series, FUBAR”

Check out the teaser of Fubar below:

The upcoming series stars Arnold as a CIA operative on the verge of retirement, who is forced to go for one last job after discovering a family secret. The official synopsis of the show reads “FUBAR tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humor”.

In addition to Arnold, the series also stars Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Jay Baruchel, Andy Buckley, Aparna Brielle, Barbara Eve Harris, Fabiana Udenio and Gabriel Luna in pivotal roles. The eight part series was created by Nick Santora, popular for his work on shows like Reacher and Prison Break.

Fubar will be available for streaming on Netflix from May 25, 2023, onwards.

Arnold was last seen in the 2019 film, Terminator: Dark Fate, the sixth installment in the Terminator franchise. The film saw him reunite with his Terminator co-star Linda Hamilton.

The actor will also be a part of David Sandberg’s Kung Fury 2, the sequel to 2015’s Kung Fury.
