Ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, Bollywood actress Amrita Rao and her husband radio jockey Anmol went to revisit the famous Bal Ganesh Temple in Karjat. Amrita and Anmol started their YouTube channel named Couple of Things. In one of the earlier vlogs, the couple, who have been married for six years, shared that initially, they faced the problem of conceiving a baby.

Amrita got married to her long-time boyfriend Anmol in 2016, after dating for seven years.

In a new video on their YouTube channel, they revealed that they are visiting Bal Ganesha Temple where they had prayed for a baby in 2018. The temple is in Kadav village, located in Karjat, Maharashtra.

Sharing more details of their visit, Anmol said that the couple had struggled to conceive and have a child. They were trying to do several things just to have their first child. At that time someone told Anmol and Amrita about a temple in Karjat where couples can make their wish for a baby to Lord Ganesha, and that no one returned empty-handed from there.

"We went there in 2018 and yes, our wish has been fulfilled. The Bal Ganesh temple is where we prayed for our son Veer. He came into our lives in 2020. We prayed right here for a baby and today we have Veer. We will begin the pooja soon," said the Main Hoon Naa fame actress.

Amrita started her career in Bollywood in 2002 with the film Ab Ke Baras and she is known for appearing in some of the celebrated Bollywood films including - Ishq Vishk, Masti, Vivah, My Name is Anthony Gonsalves among others.

She was last seen in the biographical film Thackeray, where she portrayed the character of Meena Thackeray, the wife of Indian politician and founder of Shiv Sena, Balasaheb Thackeray.
