Gangtok Gondogol: When and where to watch Parambrata Chatterjee’s Feluda venture

The new Topshe on the block, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, had fun in Gangtok. The actor, who was busy shooting in Sikking for Arindam Sil’s Feluda adaptation with Ritwick Chakraborty, Parambrata Chatterjee, Sauraseni Maitra, and others took to his social media account to share a few behind-the-screen photos and announce the release date.

Arindam’s tryst with Feluda, Shabash Feluda, will be streaming on Zee5. The first season, Gangtoke Gondogol will feature Parambrata as Feluda. Rwitobroto will be seen as Topshe. The shooting of the series was completed in Kolkata and Gangtok, Sikkim, and the show is set to drop by Poila Boishakh, April 15.

Rwitobroto took to his Instagram to share the date with photos with Ritwick, who will be seen as an important character in the film. In one photo, they are smiling while sitting opposite each other. Ritwick is seen in a moss green tee shirt under a black jacket and Rwitobroto in a mauve tee shirt under a black jacket. In another photo, Rwitobroto, wearing a white grey jacket, looks away, wearing sunglasses, and Ritwick, wearing a white tee shirt and black coat, tells him something.

Rwitobroto captioned, “We were sometimes busy in serious discussions, and at other times we had fun. Those moments were captured when we took a break from the shooting. At all those times, I covered my ears to get rid of the cold.” He also wrote, “These are the behind-the-scenes photos of the series Sabash Feluda. The film Gangtoke Gondogol, directed by Arindam Sil, is coming on the Bengali new year.”

Hence, Feluda, Bengal's favorite detective, is coming on the web in Poila Baisakh. The audience waits to see the chemistry between Feluda and Topse on the web. However, Feluda is not the only show that will entice the Bengali audience. Another favorite sleuth Eken Babu will also make an entry on the big screen on Poila Boishakh this year. There are a few more releases scheduled during the Bengali New Year.
