Gangubai Kathiawadi's new promo introduces Ajay Devgn as the dashing Rahim Lala in Alia Bhatt starrer

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's biographical drama also features Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Jim Sarbh among others.

The makers of Gangubai Kathiawadi unveiled another promo from the film ahead of its release. The upcoming biographical drama film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead and Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo role. The latest promo introduces the Bollywood hero as the sensational Rahim Lala.

The promo video begins with a woman introducing Rahim Lala from the background as the actor emerges in a dashing black attire in the video. "Lala is the king of Bombay. He is known as the man of dignity and pride. He is is truthful and even good-looking," says the female voice from the background.

Moving forward, the video glimpses how Alia and Ajay encounter each other as Gangubai and Lala. The actress can be seen seeking help from the hero. In the end, the Golmaal actor tells the lead actress to become his business partner and do the best for the brighter future of the kids living in Kamathipura.

It has been known that Gangubai’s path crosses with Rahim Lala who becomes strong support to help Gangu attain her mission and that's how their friendship unfolds.

The Drishyam actor shared the latest promo video on his Instagram handle and captioned it, "Imaan. Dharam. Dhanda. Aa rahe hai hum 6 dino mein Link in bio #GangubaiKathiawadi in cinemas on 25th Feb (sic)."

Bankrolled by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, the forthcoming movie has been helmed by Bhansali himself and also features Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Jim Sarbh among others.

Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to hit the big screens on February 25.
