The trailer of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s web series Garmi is here. This one-minute clip proves that the show is another take on student politics and what happens with the young minds. The trailer only gives you a glimpse of that.

Garmi trailer begins with a college campus and a warning. The warning is that people can either excel or suffer at the place.

Soon enough, you are introduced to the lead actor Vyom Yadav, who has a drastic personality change. From an observer, he turns into someone who blackmails goons.

See the transformation in the trailer here:

Garmi is not the first project or even the first Sony LIV project to tap into student politics. Their recent show Jehanabad – Of Love And War revolved around politics on a student campus too. The series featured Harshita Gaur and Ritwik Bhowmik in the lead roles.

Garmi, on the other hand, is around students who want to crack the UPSC exams. They however get entangled with college politics, power games and eventually, crime.

The show also stars Jatin Goswami, Vineet Kumar, Mukesh Tiwari, Anurag Thakur, Disha Thakur, Puneet Singh, Anushka Kaushik, Dheerendra Gautam and Pankaj Saraswat in pivotal roles alongside Vyom. The show releases on Sony LIV on April 21.

Apart from directing, Tigmanshu has also penned the script of Garmi. He has also worked on the screenplay and dialogues for the show.
