Ghaati is Anushka Shetty's new film, which was made on a huge budget and heavily banked on the star power of the Baahubali actress. However, the action drama opened to negative word of mouth and ultimately flopped at the box office.

Ghaati continues to post disappointing numbers

Ghaati made just Rs 2 crore on day one and Rs 1.7 crore on day two. Everyone thought the collections would get better on Sunday, as it was a weekend, but sadly, that did not happen as Ghaati made only Rs 1.2 crore, which is a shockingly low number. With this, the total collections of the film are Rs 4.8 crore net, which is very disappointing.

The word of mouth has been bad, as the narration by Krish was outdated and did not impress at all. Though Krish chose a very interesting backdrop, he narrated Ghaati as a routine revenge drama, which did not work with the audience who panned the film.

Anushka Shetty plays a drug peddler in this film and is showcased in an action-packed avatar. Vikram Prabhu played the main lead, marking his Telugu debut, but many felt he was miscast in the role, though he performed quite well in Ghaati.

Amazon Prime Video has bagged the digital rights for a fancy price, and looking at the way Ghaati is faring at the box office, it will be out of theaters soon and will land on OTT within a month of its release.

Krish Jagarlamudi, once known as a master of emotions, has now delivered yet another massive flop. His last film, Kondapolam, was also a disaster, and now Ghaati has turned out to be a massive disappointment.

Going back in time, Krish also backed out of Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which created a negative vibe around him among fans and the general audience. He needs to make a strong comeback now and prove his worth yet again, as Ghaati has disappointed both his fans and industry insiders who had high regard for him.
