The boxing drama is directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati and produced by Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby

Varun Tej has never looked as good as he is in Ghani, anytime previously in his career. He has taken every effort to put his heart, soul and sweat into the portrayal of the title role as a boxer in the sports drama that has been in the making for over a year now. The film features many a big name from Suniel Shetty to Naveen Chandra to Upendra, Nadhiya, Naresh, Tanikella Bharani and Saiee Manjrekar (who makes her Telugu debut). Directed by Kiran Korrapati, the sports drama now has a revised release date (it was December 3 earlier) and will hit theatres on December 24 across the globe.

The film's teaser was launched today. Bringing joy to 'Mega' fans, actor Ram Charan has given a voice over for the power-packed teaser of Ghani. The actor's dialogues set the tone for the teaser perfectly. 'Everyone has problems, conflicts, insults in their lives and want to rise above them to become a champion. But there's only one champion. Why it has to be you? Anyone who plays the game or loses it finds a place in the record books but it's the winner who scripts history,' Ram Charan says as the viewer glimpses through the many highs and lows in the career of the boxer Ghani.

Varun Tej, as Ghani, accompanied by his on-screen mother Nadhiya, is initially seen facing insults right from his childhood and grows to be a confident, outgoing youngster. Saiee Manjrekar is at her stylish best as Ghani's love interest. Ghani faces several obstacles in life and takes to boxing in his attempt to prove his potential as a sportsman with a killer instict. Naresh, Suniel Shetty, Naveen Chandra, Jagapathi Babu are also part of the teaser, which ends with Varun Tej entering the boxing ring and showcasing his mettle. S Thaman's powerful background score certainly stands out.

Ghani is produced under Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company, while Allu Aravind is the presenter of the film.George C. Williams has cranked the camera for the sports film that is edited by ace technician Marthand K Venkatesh. Telugu OTT platform aha is the streaming partner of the film. Other promos from the film, including Ghani's first punch, the Ghani Anthem were also released recently. The film's release date is speculated to have beeen changed to make way for Balakrishna's Akhanda (on December 2).
