Gourab Chatterjee hosts lunch with family and a party at night to celebrate wife Devlina Kumar’s birthday

As Devlina Kumar turned a year younger, her husband made an elaborate plan to surprise her and make her feel special.

Riddhiman Singha Roy, aka Gourab Chatterjee had a long day on December 6. The actor had a lot of plannings to execute and he also had to attend a morning shoot. It was his wife’s birthday. As Devlina Kumar turned a year younger, her husband made an elaborate plan to surprise her and make her feel special. Gourab drove early in the morning toward the shooting floor so that he could pack up early.

In fact, Gourab took to social media and posted a series of photos. “It’s the wife’s birthday and hence a bit of public display of affection. Happy birthday, darling @devlinakumar,” he wrote.

Anandabazar Online asked him about his plans. Gourab said that he had to go to work and had no off day. However, that does not mean that there will be no celebration. Gourab will never let it happen. He said, “I took a half-day leave. I will take Devlina and my in-laws to lunch at noon. Then we will have a party at night with friends and family.”

What did he present to Devlina? Gourab replied, “Devlina loves gold jewellery. I usually buy her gold every year. There will be no exception this year too. I will buy her something similar.”

Right now the audience is seeing Gourab in the role of Riddhiman in the serial Gatchora. Devlina is seen as a negative character in the serial Saheber Chithi. She simply wanted to spend the day with her family.
