Arjun Das is on cloud nine. And why wouldn't he? The actor recently received praise from none other than the critically acclaimed Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap. The actor, who was last seen in a brief role in Kamal Haasan's Vikram, is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of the Lijo Pellisherry's Malayalam film, Angamaly Diaries (2017). The remake is directed by Madhumita and the film will mark Arjun's debut in Bollywood. The Hindi adaptation is yet to get a title. While the shooting for the film has been wrapped up and the team is busy with the post-production, Anurag Kashyap seems to be mighty impressed by his work.

The youngster shared a screenshot of a comment by Anurag Kashyap in which he called Arjun Das, a brilliant actor. Arjun Das captioned the screenshot, "When you receive a message from one of your all time favourite directors.Thank you once again @anuragkashyap72 Sir ❤️ #Dreamsdocometrue" (sic). In the comments section, Anurag had written, "You're a brilliant actor (sic)."

Arjun Das is also working on Vasanthabalan's Aneethi, which stars Natchathiram Nagargiradhu star Dushara Vijayan as the leading lady. The star cast includes Suresh Chakraborty, Kaali Venkat, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Bharani, Aranthangi Nisha, Sara, and Arjun Chidambaram. The shoot for the film is in full swing. He will also be seen in Kumki 2, where he is said to be playing a character with shades of grey He has also lent his voice for the antagonist in Gautham Menon's upcoming film, Dhruva Natchathiram starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead.

Arjun made his acting debut with Perumaan (2012) and he shot to fame with Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi. He later went on to do a negative character in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master which had Thalapathy Vijay in the lead. He then also did a cameo in Lokesh Kanagaraj's last release Vikram, as a member of Rolex's gang, portrayed by Suriya.
