Gustaakh Ishq story

Gustaakh Ishq is a 2025 Hindi romantic drama about a young publisher, Nawabuddin (Vijay Varma), who goes to learn poetry from a reclusive poet, Aziz (Naseeruddin Shah), to save his family's printing press. While becoming a disciple, he falls in love with the poet's daughter, Minni (Fatima Sana Shaikh), which creates a conflict between his deceptive mission and his blossoming love. The conflict between love and lies tests the heart, as the truth of its intentions is slowly revealed.

This film explores whether love can transcend societal or familial expectations and predetermined fate. The main plot of the story revolves around the conflict between a lie and a growing, true love. The narrative is a blend of poetry (shayari) and the power of words that aims to connect people.
