The upcoming Malayalam movie Haal's makers have announced an update on its theatrical release. It has been confirmed that the film, which stars Shane Nigam and Sakshi Vaidya in lead roles, will hit the big screen on September 12.

Last year, the film's production was finished. The musical romance drama is expected to hit theatres by the middle to end of October of last year. However, for unspecified reasons, it was delayed. A trailer is expected to be released in the following days. The movie, which was revealed earlier in 2024, stars Shane Nigam as a charming romantic figure. Fans have increased hopes for Haal because of his immense popularity following the 2023 box office success of the action drama, RDX. Shane is also starring in Balti, an upcoming sports drama in Malayalam.

Ustad Mehdi Hassan's "Rafta Rafta Woh Meri" is reenacted by Shane Nigam in the teaser. "And the stars aligned to make our love win over the world! Presenting the SOUL OF HAAL," the actor wrote as the Instagram description for its poster in 2024. The fact that the actor is seen singing in front of what looks to be a student audience suggests that the movie is a love story set on a campus.

Sources claim that Haal is one of Shane Nigam's big-budget projects. Filming was completed in various locations in Jordan, Kozhikode, and Mysore. In order to make the film a full-fledged family entertainment in theatres, the producers intend for simultaneous Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada premieres.

Prasanth Vijayakumar is the director of the movie, which is being produced by JVJ Productions. Nishad Koya wrote the screenplay. Thoppil Joppan, Madhura Naranga, Ordinary, and Shikari Sambhu are some of his earlier works. Renowned Pakistani vocalist Atif Aslam is scheduled to debut in Malayalam with Haal. Mridul Meer and Neeraj Kumar wrote the lyrics, and Nandagopan V created the original soundtrack and score for the movie.
