Hailee Steinfeld, who will appear as Kate Bishop in the standlone Hawkeye series soon, recently addressed the possibility of her character joining Young Avengers. With the inclusion of her character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the studio is setting base for more projects with interconnected stories.

In a recent press interaction hosted by Comicbook.com the actor said that it was "crazy" that she was a part of the Hawkeye cast in the first place.

"I mean, listen, this feels so crazy to me right now just sitting here with this group of people. I'm so grateful to be a part of this show in this universe and it's only the beginning. This shows not even out so I'm looking forward to that day," Steinfeld said.

Screen Rant notes that other Young Avengers have already been introduced in recent MCU shows like Tommy/Speed (Jett Klyne) and Billy/Wiccan (Julian Hilliard) in WandaVision and Eli Bradley/Patriot (Elijah Richardson) in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Florence Pugh's character Yelena Belova, is another Young Avenger, appearing in Hawkeye with Kate. Kamala Khan /Ms Marvel (Iman Vellani), Riri Williams/Ironheart (Dominique Thorne), and Echo are also set to debut in Ms. Marvel Iron Heart and Echo, respectively.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will feature America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will see Cassie Lang/Stature (Kathryn Newton).

Comicbook.com says that Marvel chief Kevin Feige had hinted at the group's formation earlier this year, but did not go on to reveal much. Feige said the comics serve as "inspiration" and a "guide point". "How those things come together and in what shape, it's always subverting expectations, it's always half the fun as meeting them," he said.

Hawkeye, which will see Jeremy Renner reprise his role as the superhero, is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 24.
