Helmet trailer: 'Entrepreneurs' Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee sell a truckload of condoms

The trailer for Helmet has been dropped today. The film is set to be ZEE5 original film and is based on the discomfort around buying and selling condoms in the country. Helmet features Aparshakti Khurana, Pranutan Bahl, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Verma and Sharib Hashmi in the lead roles. The film starts with Aparshakti's character trying to buy a condom at a chemist but instead buys other stuff out of shyness.

He faces the wrath of his ladylove played by Pranutan who screams at him for not buying a condom. On the other hand, Sharib is seen as a man who is extorting money from Abhishek's character. The latter asks for some time to return the money he took from him. The three friends also including Ashish decide to rob an e-commerce company truck, to 'earn' money in the quickest way.

However, instead of phones, they find boxes of condoms in the truck much to their dismay. But then they decide to sell the condoms as everyone needs them but are too shy to buy them publicly. Thus Lucky and his friends wear a helmet and sell condoms from place to place which booms their business eventually.

This kickstarts a fun and important rollercoaster ride with many hilarious moments and funny punchlines which will leave one in splits.

Helmet is directed by Satramm Ramani and produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Dino Morea’s DM Movies.

As per Indian Express, on turning producer with the film, Dino had said in a statement, "The team of the film is pulling all the stops to offer a comedy that comes from the heart of India. We have a surprise for the audience, and we can’t wait to bring it to them."

The film is set to stream on ZEE5 from September 3, 2021.
