A few days ago, Solanki Roy confirmed her divorce from her ex-husband Shakya. It was long known that their marriage became stale. The actress, who is known to be a private person, confirmed her official separation finally. It was also heard that Solanki was dating actor Soham Majumder, known in Bollywood for the film Kabir Singh and popular in Tollywood for the film Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti.

Reports said that they had been dating for a while and spent the Puja together. Their photos were also coming on social media. However, Solanki told Nivedita Online that they were just friends. Now, on Soham's birthday, Solanki gave a new dimension to their relationship.

Solanki shared a photo of them. Both were seen in a rickshaw ride clad in sunglasses. Solanki had a blue top and Soham had a mustard-coloured tee shirt. She wrote in the caption, “Many many happy returns of the day! Continue being the goofiest, silliest, and the kindest person around, and never let the child inside you grow up!” Then Solanki called Soham 'Pisemoshai' and wrote, “P.S. Solanki is now trying her luck in Mumbai. She rented a flat there. Is Soham the reason behind her going to the tinsel town? Solanki replied, “I have no special friend.” When asked about her relationship with Soham, the actress said, “He is just my good friend.”

Solanki married her schoolmate Shakya Bose at the beginning of 2018. She went to New Zealand with her husband. She came back after a year, and her going to New Zealand became infrequent. They divorced in 2023.

When asked about the reason behind the divorce, Solanki said, 'It happens that two persons are wonderful human beings, but are not compatible to live with each other. I think that happened to me.”
