It’s taken a really long time, but finally, Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie is available to subscribers of Amazon Prime Video for free. As of now, only the Hindi version is on the platform, though, with the other language options currently unavailable.

777 Charlie movie review: Rakshit Shetty’s film for pet lovers is all heart and soul

777 Charlie follows the transformative journey that the protagonist Dharma (Rakshit) has after a dog that he names Charlie comes into his life. An orphan and loner, Dharma’s daily routine has him smoking, drinking, eating 2 idlis from a neighbourhood store, working at a factory and picking up fights. When a run-away pup takes shelter in his house and Dharma begins to develop a bond with the canine, it changes him.

When Charlie is then diagnosed with a terminal illness, Dharma and Charlie embark on a journey to snowy Kashmir to let the canine fulfil her bucket-list - enjoy her last moments in snow. It’s a journey that takes them across different states and several adventures. Rakshit had released the film with special premieres for pet lovers across the country, which helped with the word-of-mouth publicity before the actual theatrical outing.
