Adding to the high-content lineup of Hoichoi season 5, alongside much-awaited titles like Gora, Mandaar, Srikanto, Tanim Noor has announced his newest web series Kaiser. Hoichoi Bangladesh dropped the announcement of the title on its Instagram.

Have a look at it here:

The protagonist is a fictional Bengali detective in a unique avatar of the eponymous Kaiser Chowdhury. He is a police officer and has a revulsion from corpses. However, he's very keen in his observational power, attention to details and has an uncanny ability to solve cases of crime mysteries. If all falls to place in the series, it can be said that Kaiser might just earn a fanbase like the Byomkesh series starring Anirban Bhattacharya.

Tanim Noor has been a successful import on Hoichoi. His web series Money Honey dropped on the popular streaming platform in 2019. The realistic, taut crime thriller depicting a bank robbery in Bangladesh integrated the streets and shady corners of towns with interesting next-door characters and suspense. Noor also worked as a creative producer in the 2020 web series Taqdeer, which is also available on Hoichoi. With the highest number of web projects from Bangladesh to his credit as a creator, he is called "OTT king" in his close circles and thus, is expected to repeat the success of Money Honey.

Speaking of Bangladeshi content on Hoichoi, if you are a fan of that, you must have watched the recently released series Mohanagar. Ashfaque Nipun’s thriller enthralled the audience with its slow burn treatment of suspense, be it through the claustrophobic police station of Dhaka, the multiple social threads exposed slowly by a seemingly ordinary street accident being handled in a police station at midnight or the good performances of the actors. The director brings you Sabrina as his latest offering.

The cast of the series hasn’t been revealed yet and more details on the project are awaited.
