Vidyut Jammwal’s IB 71 has finally released in theatres. The movie is expected to do a lifetime collection of Rs. 30 crores. It is to be noted that Vidyut makes his debut as a producer with the film.

The movie is made on a budget of Rs. 50 crores. The OTT rights of the film are sold to Disney+Hotstar. Apart from that, the movie could touch Rs. 30 crores at the Box Office.

IB 71 is expected to open with Rs. 3.5 crores, according to a report on Box Office Worldwide. The movie is likely to earn Rs. 15 crores over the weekend.

The initial buzz for IB 71 is good. It isn’t great but the word-of-mouth from Jammwalians are likely to help the film.

The biggest competition for IB 71 currently is The Kerala Story. The movie has been breaking records with its Box Office collections. Whether IB 71 can stand up to that, remains to be seen.

Vidyut’s IB 71 is the story of how India’s secret agency IB (Intelligence Bureau) played a huge role in the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. It is the moment when Bangladesh was formed. The movie is based on the Ganga Attacks.

IB 71 also stars Vishal Jethwa in the lead role. Anupam Kher played an important character in the film.
