With ten days of big screen run, Idli Kadai has collected Rs 62 crore, with India's gross collection standing at Rs 52.1 crore. Written and directed by Dhanush as well, Idli Kadai has crossed half well for the 100-crore club. But with the upcoming Diwali releases, will the Dhanush-starrer make it?

Idli Kadai marks Dhanush's fourth directorial after Pa Paandi, Raayan and NEEK. The feel-good drama is stars Dhanush in the lead role, along with a bunch of known actors. With the film currently running in theatres, Idli Kadai has still one week of no competition, until the Diwali releases hit theatres.

As per Sacnilk report, Idli Kadai has made a worldwide gross of Rs 62 crore, while within India, it is Rs 52 crore. It is a long path for the Dhanush film to make it to 100 crore club, given the film is yet to take place in the top 10 Tamil grossers of this year.

Idli Kadai released in theatres on October 1 and was soon followed up by the release of Kantara: Chapter 1, which is a pan-Indian film. Idli Kadai has one more week to go until the screens are shared with Diwali releases like Bison, Dude and Diesel.
