Jisshu U Sengupta and Nilanjana’s reported separation on social media broke their fans’ hearts. The actor and his wife do not live together anymore. Their daughter Sara unfollowed her father on social media and stood by her mother's side. However, Jisshu kept quiet amidst all these. On Friday night, he posed smilingly at a party.

On this day, Dev, Jisshu, and others were invited to the rice ceremony of producer Atanu Roychoudhury’s granddaughter. Jisshu posed smilingly with Atanu at the ceremony. On Friday, he came back to Instagram and shared an update also. His Insta Story showed that he was nominated in the Best Villain category at the IIFA Awards. Veteran actors like Prakash Raj are his competitors there.

There are speculations going on regarding the status of Jisshu and Nilanjana's marriage. However, sources close to them said the divorce will definitely happen, according to some sources. It is rumored that Jisshu got involved in an extramarital affair and Nilanjanaa decided to leave him. Her father was also reportedly saddened by such news. She lost her mother Anjana Bhowmik recently. Hence this separation is a big blow to her. Meanwhile, Jisshu never revealed anything about this.
