This element is said to be the lifeline of the story, as Prabhas’s backstory will be revealed in a way that’s sure to stun audiences. Interestingly, Prabhas has never played a cop before, making Spirit even more exciting to look forward to.

Vivek Oberoi is equally excited about his role and mentioned in an interview that he had reached out to Sandeep Vanga after watching Arjun Reddy and even met him for dinner once the film became a hit. From that moment to now bagging a crucial role in Spirit, Vivek says he has been eager to start shooting.

Pre-production of Spirit in full swing

Produced by T-Series and Sandeep Vanga, Spirit is being mounted on a massive scale. Reportedly, 80% of the background score has already been completed, and the team is now waiting for Prabhas to wrap up his current project Fauji so they can begin shooting non-stop and aim for an early release.

The pre-production of the film is almost done, and the shoot is expected to begin in February 2026. Triptii Dimri and Prakash Raj also play important roles, with music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Stay tuned for more updates.
