Inspector Nalinikanta teaser: Rajatava Dutta presents a glimpse into a love-lust and murder mystery

Rajatava Dutta’s performance in Dhrubo Banerjee’s Karnasubarner Guptodhon has been appreciated by viewers and critics alike. After the first film of the Guptodhon franchise, Rajatava is back as a comical villain Dasanan Daw. His comic timing and perfect tuning with co-actor Sourav Das have offered a series of hilarious comedy sequences. Now, the actor is all set to appear as a police inspector in Klikk’s original web series, Inspector Nalinikanta. The teaser was dropped on Saturday.

Rajatava will be playing the titular role of Inspector Nalinikanta. Directed by Soumik Chattopadhyay, the show also features Mishka Halim, Subrat Dutt, Rupsha Chatterjee, Goutam Sarkar, and others. Inspector Nalinikanta will be solving a murder that is embroiled in love, extramarital relationships, and revenge. The inspector solves the mystery with his assistant Mustak.

The story delves into the life of Kolkata’s famous cosmetic surgeon Dr Aditya Sen. He has an extramarital affair with his patient Nisha. On his 15th marriage anniversary, he senses that his wife Sharmila also has an affair outside of marriage. On the other hand, Sharmila gets to see Nisha’s incessant phone calls to Dr Aditya.

Now the doctor plans to kill his wife Sharmila. Nisha becomes his partner-in-crime. Sharmila is attacked and it appears that burglars break in and commit the crime. Inspector gets into the investigation. Inspector comes to solve the mystery.
