The series is about a young woman, Hyun Heup, who has the unique ability to see red lines that connect people to their past sexual partners. These lines, known as S lines, become visible to others when wearing special glasses, causing social disruption and revealing secrets. The series follows Hyun Heup, a detective who is investigating the origin of the glasses, and a high school teacher who is distributing the glasses, exploring issues of privacy, social justice, and the impact of technology on human relationships.

The ending of S Line strongly hints at the potential for further exploration of the show's universe, especially with the red lines becoming visible to all. In the end, Lee Gyu-jin is revealed as the culprit behind the mystery that led to the deaths of many people.

In the final episode, viewers see the detective enter another world of S-Line, where he finds people desperately trying to remove the red lines from their heads. He is then shocked to see his father also murdered by Gyu-jin.

The open ending and strong reception from fans open up the possibility of a second season in the future. Meanwhile, an official confirmation is yet to come.
