We had earlier reported that actor Sivakarthikeyan's 25th project will be helmed by filmmaker Sudha Kongara, with actors Jayam Ravi, Atharvaa and Sreeleela onboard already. With the film getting launched a few weeks ago, we have now learnt the title of the film which has not yet been disclosed officially. Read on to learn what the title of SK 25 is.

SK 25 title is this?

Sivakarthikeyan, who tasted massive success through Amaran last year, is busy with back-to-back projects. The actor, who is shooting for SK 23 with veteran filmmaker AR Murugadoss, also has SK 25 with Sudha Kongara. The latter was launched recently, with Jayam Ravi playing the antagonist. With Sreeleela playing the female lead, and Atharvaa as an important character, SK 25 team has not revealed the title.

On social media, a working document seeking artiste fees, has been circulating, which mentioned the title of SK 25 to be 1965. Since we already know that SK 25 is going to be a period drama, Sudha's choice of going with the title of the film as the year, tells us that the film is set during the 1960s. SK 25 is currently under production and is backed by Dawn Pictures, with Amaran composer GV Prakash scoring the music.

SK 25 once was Suriya 43

It is already a known fact that Sudha had first announced this project with Suriya in the lead role, with actors Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Varma and Nazriya Fahadh in key roles. However, Suriya had to drop out of the project for reasons that were undisclosed. The project was then revealed to be partially titled as Purananooru. It looks like Sudha Kongara wanted to start the project afresh, and has gone with 1965.

SK 25 is yet to get a release date. It marks the first time Sivakarthikeyan is working with filmmaker Sudha Kongara, and also Sreeleela’s Tamil debut. Jayam Ravi will be playing his maiden role as an antagonist.
