Randeep Hooda's look from Gopichand Malineni's Jaat was recently revealed. The makers dropped the first character poster and teaser of Randeep on social media. He was introduced as menacing villain Ranatunga in the Sunny Deol-starrer. His gory look as a ruthless gangster left people startled. After his character reveal, Randeep divulged more details about his antagonist role in the action-thriller.

Randeep Hooda has played dark characters in his projects. However, Ranatunga in Jaat is unlike the roles he's played on the screen. According to the actor, his character in Gopichand Malineni's movie is 'pure evil'.

"He’s violent, unhinged, and operates with a kind of brutality that even shocked me while performing it. Jaat is a film that dives into a world of raw, unapologetic crime, and my character sits at the center of that storm," said Randeep.

The actor added that filmmaker Gopichand was clear about how he envisioned Ranatunga. And the actor completely took what the director had imagined for this role. While sharing his character-poster on Instagram, Hooda wrote, "My name is Ranatunga!!! The stage is set for a ruthless face-off with the JAAT GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON APRIL 10th. BaisakhiWithJaat (sic)."
