Netflix's hit crime drama is back with another season. The Makers have just dropped the trailer of Jamtara: Season 2, which has taken the scamming world up a notch this time. Based on the real events, season 2 is about cybercrime more widespread, which revolves around young scamsters, who have innovated and diversified phishing in Jamtara.

The latest trailer unveils that the upcoming part is the continuation of the first season that sees the noob scammers of Jamtara grow stronger and better with time. The latest sequel will also see a huge chunk of politics in Jamtara and the places nearby.

The trailer showcases the frauds scamming the people of India online by wooing them with an extraordinary offer to win money in Kaun Banega Crorepati (a famous game show).

Talking about season 2, director Soumendra Padhi shared in a statement that there has been a huge growth in the number of phishing scams in India and young people in Jamtara took advantage of unsuspecting people who weren’t tech-savvy, successfully building a hub for endless cash, with a mobile address book and quick dial.

He further added that with shows like Jamtara they want to spread the word across the country and educate people about such kinds of scams.

Apart from YouTube, the OTT giant shared the latest trailer on its official handle with quirky captions on multiple social media. The post on Instagram reads, "Congratulations, your account has been selected to view the Jamtara trailer Use OTP, "love you admin" in the comments #JamtaraOnNetflix (sic)."

Jamtara - Sabka Number Ayega S2, which stars Sparsh Srivastav, Monika Panwar, Anshumaan Pushkar, Seema Pahwa, Aatm Prakash Mishra and Amit Sial among others, is slated to release on September 23 on Netflix.
