Jawan: Sanjay Dutt all set to join the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer?

Sanjay Dutt to have an exciting cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan.

In the first-of-its-kind Indian film Jawan, which will include a mixture of South and Bollywood personalities, Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee will collaborate. The movie marks a lot of firsts, including Nayanthara's Bollywood debut. Recently, another intriguing piece of information has emerged about the movie. Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt will collaborate on this action comedy, although Dutt will only appear in a cameo.

In a recent Peeping Moon report, a source has confirmed the developments and was quoted saying, "The casting for this brief but vital role has been quite difficult for Atlee, as it required an A-list star who had never appeared on screen alongside Shah Rukh. Allu Arjun was earlier offered this role, but he turned it down due to a scheduling conflict and his commitment to the highly anticipated Pushpa: The Rule. Shortly after Allu’s refusal, the makers went to Sanju Baba, and now he has agreed to do this role for SRK."

This is not the first time where Sanjay will be doing a special appearance in a Shah Rukh Khan film. He has already made a brief appearance in movies like Om Shanti Om and Ra One.

Speaking of Jawan, Sanjay Dutt has not only agreed to play the part but will also shortly begin filming in Mumbai. Also, it's been said that expensive sets will be erected up to shoot this SRK-Sanjay scene in a big way.

About the Atlee-directed movie, it stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi. In addition, Yogi Babu and Sanya Malhotra play significant parts in the action film, which is scheduled to hit theatres on June 2, 2023.
