Jr. NTR and Hrithik Roshan graced the event and made it a grand success.

Jr NTR's speech at War 2 event goes viral

We had already reported how Hrithik Roshan praised NTR to the skies, calling him one of the finest actors in the country. On the other hand, Jr. NTR didn’t shy away from showering Hrithik with compliments. In an emotional note, NTR said: “I remember watching Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai in a theatre in Hyderabad, and being blown away by Hrithik Roshan Sir’s dance moves. From that time till today, I’ve been a huge fan of Hrithik Sir and admire the body of work he has done. Everybody says I’m a good dancer, but I firmly believe Hrithik Sir is the finest dancer in the country.”

NTR also revealed that he wasn’t initially interested in doing a Hindi film at this stage in his career, but one meeting with producer Aditya Chopra changed everything.

“I met Adi Sir, and he explained how he would make War 2 with me and the way he planned to showcase me like never before. I completely believed in him and said yes to War 2. I was supposed to do a film with Ayan Mukerji earlier, but it didn’t happen. Now life has come full circle, as Ayan has directed War 2, and nobody except him could have made it in such a grand manner.”

War 2 to have a record release in Telugu

Thousands of NTR and Hrithik’s fans attended the event in Hyderabad despite the threat of rain. Luckily, the rain stayed away, making the event a superhit. With War 2 releasing alongside Rajinikanth’s Coolie, competition is fierce. The Telugu theatrical rights for War 2 have been sold at a record price, so the film needs a solid opening at the box office.

Earlier, Coolie had the advantage, but this high-profile event has brought War 2 back into the spotlight. Kiara Advani plays the female lead in the film, which has been made on a huge budget.
