Uyare director Manu Ashokan just unveiled the trailer of his upcoming film Kaanekkaane. Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lekshmi, who regaled fans with their sparkling chemistry in Mayanadi, will be sharing screen space in the movie again.

Have a look at the trailer here:

While you can’t put a finger on it, Tovino Thomas’ character as glimpsed in the trailer instantly gets your interest. The crisply edited clip delves into a mishap. It provides a glimpse into the messy contours of relationships and the inherent complexities that come with it. The one-minute sneak-peak, rather short for a trailer, is effective.

Surja Venajaramoodu and Shruti Ramachandran co-star in the film as leads. Prem Prakash and Rony David Raj will be seen in important roles as well.

Award-winning scriptwriters Bobby and Sanjay, who penned the script of Parvathy starring film Uyare, have written the script for Kaanekkaane.

Manu had described the film as a 'fictional tale of raw human relationship' to TOI recently. He had further added that the film, being completely performance-driven, accords enough scope for the actors to explore their acting capabilities.
