Three months after its theatrical release, the film—which did not receive much praise from moviegoers—is making its digital debut on Manorama Max from October 24. The main character of the movie is Ratheesh, who works in Singapore and longs to move to a small town with his mother. Despite her lack of interest, he falls in love with his neighbour Jumai, a bidi roller. As he pursues his suspicions that she may be a lesbian, his life takes an unexpected turn.
Sai Krishna, who worked with famed director Jayaraj, makes his directorial debut with Kadalolam Sneham. The main cast in the movie includes Jibnu Jacob, Kottayam Ramesh, Meera Nair, and Zeenath AP. The director wrote the screenplay, while Sai Krishna and Devakrishnan conceived the story. Kadalolam Sneham had Raaza Razaq as its music composer.
Malayalam OTT releases in October
Mirage became available on SonyLiv with OTTplay Premium on October 19. Hakim Shahjahan, Aparna Balamurali, and Asif Ali all have significant roles in this Jeethu Joseph-directed thriller. ZEE5 and OTTPlay Premium began streaming Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali, another recent film starring Asif Ali, on October 17. Deepak Parambol-starrer Imbam made its debut on SunNXT two years after its theatrical release. Valsala Club, Station 5, and Chattuli are some of the most recent Malayalam films to stream on Manorama Max. A Malayalam web series titled Coupling! will also be available on the same site from October 24. By the end of this month, JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium will also offer the eagerly awaited fantasy thriller, Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra.
