Kajal, on the other hand, also plays a teacher at the same school. Her character is unhappy with the way her husband and son are navigating life. She is portrayed as a woman facing marital issues and is frequently seen arguing with her husband.

Speaking about her role, Kajal says that, as a newcomer, she couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity. “Anaganaga gives me so much scope to perform. For a new actress like me, it’s a dream-come-true role, and I loved the fact that my character challenged me throughout the shoot,” says Kajal.

The young actress adds that the emotions in the film are quite realistic and have been portrayed movingly. “My character goes through a lot emotionally. She’s sometimes caught between her husband and, at other times, her son. The way she struggles to balance her family and professional life is depicted beautifully in the film. The emotional scenes between the father and son will move you to tears,” she adds.

Anaganaga cast and crew

Anaganaga is directed by Sunny Sanjay, who has managed to convey a powerful message to schools about how they approach children's education. When asked about the film not getting a theatrical release, Kajal says, “Such subjects are best suited to the OTT space, as they are slow-paced and storytelling-focused. Anaganaga is one such film that will gain more viewers as word of mouth spreads.”

ETV Win is confident that the film will make waves, just like their other hits #90s and KA which are still trending on the platform. Stay tuned for more updates.
