Not very long ago, the internet seemed smitten with the fact that well-known actor Kishore Kumar G's Twitter account was suspended due to a violation of certain rules. While most reports in this regard refrained from mentioning the exact reason, stating that the cause for suspension remains unclear, it was assumed by many that it was because of Kishore's political statements that brought his account down.

However, OTTplay learned from the actor himself yesterday that, quite in fact, his Twitter handle faced suspension not because of his supposedly controversial views but because of hacking. And about 24 hours later, Kishore confirms with a clarification that his account, indeed, was hacked back in December of 2022 and that Twitter has promised necessary action at the earliest.

"Just to avoid unnecessary misconceptions about the suspension of my Twitter account. My Twitter account was not suspended because of any of my posts. I have come to know that it was because of Hacking on December 20, 2022. Twitter has promised necessary action. Thanking everyone for their concern," wrote Kishore via his Instagram handle.

While speaking to OTTplay about the confusion, Kishore shared that although he wasn't certain why his account was suspended, it did not surprise him the least that something along those lines took place. Despite being a highly sought-after actor, Kishore has used his position as a public personality only to voice dissent and share his fierce opinions on social and political matters - the actor recently spoke up against the superstitions and frenzy that his film Kantara was surrounded by, lamenting that one must spread hatred in the name of faith.

Over the past two decades, Kishore has made a name for himself as a most reliable and skilled actor and as a result, he has had the rare opportunity of working across industries. From Vetrimaaran, Mani Ratnam to Raj & DK, Kishore has collaborated with some of the biggest names in Indian cinema. He is likely to reprise his role as Forest Officer Muralidhar in Kantara 2.
