Hombale Films on RRR's Naatu Naatu win

The RRR mania has entered a whole new phase as the film now garners the entire world's attention for its latest 'Golden' victory. Following the spectacular Golden Globe win in the Best Original Song category for the Naatu Naatu, wishes and endearing messages have been pouring in for team RRR - from Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi, and Mammootty to AR Rahman, Ricky Kej and even Rihanna, compliments have come in vast abundance for the makers of the Telugu film.

In the same vein came Hombale Films' special post dedicated to the Golden Globe win wherein the KGF 2 and Kantara makers congratulated team RRR on the feat. Terming the win a "stellar achievement", Hombale Films added that the dedication and efforts of S.S. Rajamouli & Co. have brought glory to Indian cinema and made the entire country proud.

"Huge congratulations to #RRRMovie team for stellar achievement in winning Best Original Song award at #GoldenGlobes Awards! Your dedication have brought glory to Indian cinema & made the country proud @mmkeeravaani @ssrajamouli @Tarak9999 @AlwaysRamcharan @DVVMovies #NaatuNaatu," said the official social media handle of Hombale Films.

Thanks to the glorious Golden Globe victory that RRR now boasts even better chances at the upcoming iteration of the Oscars. Traditionally, one sees a Golden Globe winner going on to lift the Academy Award more often than not with India's own AR Rahman enunciating this by winning the Golden Globe and the Oscar for Best Original Score for Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire.

Speaking of the Oscars, Hombale Films' Kantara has joined the Oscars 2023 race by making it to the long list of eligible films for the upcoming nominations. The Rishab Shetty film, along with Kannada's own Vikrant Rona and 10 other Indian films, is one part of the 301 eligible entries to the Oscars voting process which is due to begin on January 12th. Rishab Shetty, who wrote, directed, and also starred in it as the leading man, has earned the qualification of a Best Actor nomination. In short, the top league Hollywood awards have rekindled the joy and celebration among Indian moviegoers who are keenly looking forward to winning more accolades.
