Karam: Vineeth Sreenivasan's next directorial starring Noble Babu Thomas gets a release date

The movie, which stars Noble Babu Thomas in the lead role, will hit the big screen on September 25. The latest poster has also unveiled the title, release date, and a glimpse into its main character.

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Karam, had dropped a poster today (July 16). The theatrical release date of this action thriller, which is directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, has been confirmed as well.

The movie, which stars Noble Babu Thomas in the lead role, will hit the big screen on September 25. The latest poster has also unveiled the title, release date and a glimpse into its main character in action. In the meantime, the director affirmed that, unlike his previous films, the story will not be set in Chennai or have any connection to the city. This was shared by Vineeth as a reply to a fan's comment on social media. The movie is bankrolled by Visakh Subramaniam and Vineeth Sreenivasan under the banners Merryland Cinemas and Habit of Life.

The remaining members of the movie's cast have not yet been announced. Vineeth, who is primarily known for his light-hearted movies that explore love and brotherhood, is attempting action thriller genre for the first time.

Vineeth, who had previously taken long breaks between his directorials, chose a new plan after Varshangalkku Shesham and Hridayam were re leased. He quickly disclosed his next project alongside Noble Babu Thomas following the release of Varshangalkku Shesham, which is streaming on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium. Music composer Shaan Rahman had also earlier made references to the project on social media, much to the delight of movie aficionados.

Vineeth Sreenivasan's upcoming films in 2025

Oru Jaathi Jathakam was Vineeth's recent theatrical release in 2025. Amazon Prime Video is currently streaming the comedy-drama. In Dileep's next film, Bha Bha Ba, he is playing a crucial part. By the end of this year, the film—which also features Dhyan Sreenivasan, Siddarth Bharathan, and Saranya Ponvanan—should be released. Fans of these stars are even more excited for the film as a result of its teaser. He is also acting in Vala, Arun Chandu's upcoming sci-fi drama.
