Karan Kundrra’s Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal is already topping the TRP charts within two weeks of its release. The show has managed to beat the likes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kumkum Bhagya. This is a new and huge feat because both the shows are the longest-running on TV.

Television’s prime time (9 pm slot) proved to be helpful for Kumkum Bhagya and another TV show, Faltu. It is now doing wonders for Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal.

The BARC ratings for Karan’s show have grown exponentially. It opened with a TVR of 1.3 at 9 pm.

As per the report released on March 2 (Thursday), Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal has beaten Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kumkum Bhagya and even Faltu in terms of ratings. The supernatural show has sure left people intrigued.

While Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal originally stars Gashmeer Mahajani and Reem Shaikh along with Karan, the premiere episode had a special surprise for the viewers. Roohaniyat’s Arjun Bijlani and Dear Ishq’s Niyati Fatnani made a cameo in the first episode of Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal.

Before Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, the makers had produced Ishq Mein Marjawan. The show featured Arjun and Aalisha Panwar in the lead roles. Nia Sharma had joined that show later, in 2018. She played the role of Aarohi on it. Whether the two actresses will also be a part of Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal at some point, remains to be seen.

Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal did not release without competition. Ankit Gupta-Gautam Singh Vig’s Junooniyatt also launched on the same day and surprisingly, all the male leads have the Bigg Boss connection.

Initially, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal was being pushed for the weekend airing. However, after the grand launch, the show now airs from Monday-Wednesday at 9 pm. It is expected to go off air in May 2023. The show can also be streamed on Voot.
