Deepika Padukone, who was a jury member at this year's Cannes Film Festival, has barely gone wrong with her sartorial choices. Many celebs and admirers are talking about her on social media. Katrina Kaif was just added to the list after she complimented Deepika's appearance in a recent interview.
Katrina was asked a lot of questions about her cosmetic regimen and her favourite products in a rapid-fire round with Vogue India. When asked in the same interview which recent celebrity appearances had left her speechless, Katrina replied immediately, “Deepika in Cannes.” She went on to compliment her ensembles, saying, “I think she did some stunning looks.”
Deepika is one of eight members of this year's Cannes Film Festival's competitive jury, which also includes well-known figures. Many Indian celebs, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Hina Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, R Madhavan, AR Rahman, Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah Bhatia, and others, were in attendance and walked the festival's red carpet this year.
On the other side, Katrina and her husband Vicky Kaushal gained attention after it had been revealed that they had received death threats. Police responded quickly and apprehended the individual who had threatened the couple with murder.
Katrina Kaif has several interesting projects in the works for her future. She will soon be seen in Phone Bhoot starring Ishaan Khattar and Siddharth Chaturvedi. She will also appear in Tiger 3 alongside Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi. She will also feature in Merry Christmas opposite Vijay Sethupathi.
Deepika recently shared a poster for a forthcoming film starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The actress had a pretty tough face in the image when she was holding a gun. The actress will also appear in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. She is also in Project K with Prabhas. Deepika is also in the Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film The Intern in which she will co-star with Amitabh Bachchan.
