Kavin 09: Kavin to pair up with Priyanka Arul Mohan for a fantasy romantic comedy

Kavin 09 is launched by Think Studios, marking the directorial debut of Ken Royson, who previously directed a music video. Kavin and Priyanka Mohan will share screen space for the first time.

Actor Kavin, who has a line-up of films for release, has announced his next one. The film was officially launched on Wednesday, and will have Priyanka Arul Mohan playing the female lead. Tentatively called Kavin 09, the film will be a romantic fantasy comedy.

Kavin’s next launched; to be fantasy comedy

Tamil cinema has been inaugurating new projects in recent days, and the latest is actor Kavin’s. He is going to pair up with actor Priyanka Arul Mohan. The project was announced by Think Studios, which will be bankrolling the film tentatively called Kavin 09.

The film, which is to be directed by Ken Royson in his debut, will feature Priyanka Mohan in the lead along with Kavin, marking their first collaboration. Ken has earlier directed the music video of Sai Abhyankkar’s single Katchi Sera. Music for the film is to be scored by music director OFRO. Swaroop Reddy is producing this fantasy romantic comedy on behalf of Think Studios.

The details of other cast and crew members of the film, which is yet to be titled, will be officially announced shortly. It is to be noted that Kavin has worked on the sets of Beast and Doctor helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, while Priyanka starred in Doctor and Don. Priyanka is also part of upcoming Telugu film OG.

Kavin to team up with director Ram Sangaiah

Only recently, Kavin had also announced another project with the Prince Pictures banner. The young actor will join hands with director Ram Sangaiah, who earlier made Thandatti with the banner. The film is yet to be titled.

Meanwhile, Kavin, who was last seen in Bloody Beggar last year, will be next seen in Kiss. The film is yet to get a release date, and is directed by choreographer Sathish. He also has Mask under Vetrimaaran's production, which co-stars Andrea Jeremiah and Hi with Nayanthara. However, there have been no major updates about the projects since the announcement.
