In a new promo of KBC 17, Amitabh Bachchan welcomes Kumar Birla on the iconic hot seat and marks the beginning of an unexpected collaboration between purpose and vision. Tonight, viewers will get to discover Kumar Birla’s success mantra with some interesting backstories. In the promo, Amitabh Bachchan asks how Kumar Birla started his career and how different was it to hail from an already established business family.
Sharing the story, Kumar Mangalam Birla revealed that he decided to pursue graduation and join his father’s business, but his father refused and told him to first become a CA.

“CA is something which is different. At that time I could see my aspirations and ambitions all flying out of the window. Toh main kehta tha ki mein MBA karunga but CA nahi karunga. He said agar tum CA nahi bante ho toh iss office mein tumhara koi kaam nahi hai. Toh main dada ji ke paas gaya aur bola ki muje aap thoda bachaiye. Unhone bola ki mein ismein tumhari madad nahi kr skta tum karlo.

He also revealed that Amitabh Bachchan is his favourite actor as he hailed the ‘Shehanshah.’
