Khalli Balli: Dharmendra, Vijay Raaz’s horror comedy to hit theatres on THIS date

Dharmendra is gearing up to grace the big screen yet again very soon. The veteran actor will next be seen in the horror comedy Khalli Balli. The makers recently announced the release date of the upcoming film.

The news was shared by the makers on their official social media handles, along with a poster of the film. The poster features Dharmendra, as well as his co-stars Madhoo Shah and Vijay Raaz, as the trio find themselves in the thick of a mystery. Khalli Balli will be released in theatres on September 16.

According to a report in India TV News, the upcoming film revolves around the story of a young woman who aspires to become a model and starts a relationship with the owner of an advertisement agency to get closer to her goal. But none of the films in which she stars in achieve completion, as strange phenomena get in their way. In order to solve the mystery, the couple take the help of an inspector, a professor and a doctor.

In addition to Dharmendra,Madhoo Shah and Vijay Raaz, the upcoming film also stars Rajneesh Duggal, Kainaat Arora, Rajpal Yadav, Yasmeen Khan, Asrani, Rohan Mehra, Hemant Pandey and Brijendra Kala, among others, in pivotal roles. Manoj Sharma has directed the film,which is produced by Kamal Kishor Mishra under the banner of One Entertainment Film Productions. Poonam and Shivam Bagchi have composed music for the film.

Besides Khalli Balli, Dharmendra will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, sharing the screen with Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The veteran actor will also share the screen with his sons Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol, and grandson Karan Deol in the upcoming sequel to 2007’s Apne.
