Vijay Devarakonda plays the main lead, and he needs to score a hit as his last three films ended as big flops at the box office. He is pinning all his hopes on director Gautam Tinnanuri to make a strong comeback with Kingdom.

Kingdom's reincarnation theme makes headlines

However, if you observe the promo carefully, there are a few dialogues that hint at this. Since not many have noticed this detail, the makers are promoting the film as a never-before-seen action drama.

There is also news that Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in a double role. One of the characters will be showcased through the reincarnation theme. If you closely watch the trailer, the last shot shows a man in a powerful masked avatar, sparking social media speculation that it is indeed Vijay Devarakonda in disguise. His role has been kept a secret deliberately.

Kingdom is set in Sri Lanka, and popular actor Satyadev plays a crucial role in the film. He will be seen as Vijay Devarakonda’s brother and portrays one of the main villains. Bhagyashree Borse plays the female lead, and her character is also said to be quite special, according to sources.

Vijay will appear in three different looks in the film and plays a constable who lands in Sri Lanka on an undercover mission to unravel the dark secrets of a mafia don, played by Satya, who turns out to be his brother. With so many intricate plot details interconnected, everyone is eager to see what Gautam Tinnanuri has up his sleeve with Kingdom.
