Kiran Abbavaram announces K-Ramp: Cast, director, genre, and release date - all you need to know

Kiran Abbavaram is at the top of his game with back-to-back projects in hand. His last film, KA, was a smash hit at the box office, grossing just over ₹50 crore. The social drama is now streaming on ETV Win.

On the other hand, we at OTTplay have already revealed that Kiran Abbavaram has signed yet another film with Hasya Movies, in which he will play the lead role. The project was officially announced today in Hyderabad.

Titled K-Ramp, the film is touted to be a hilarious comedy, marking the first time Kiran will portray an out-and-out comedic role in his career. K-Ramp is produced by Razesh Danda, the man behind the successful films Samajavaragamana and Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, featuring Sree Vishnu and Sundeep Kishan, respectively.

KA-Ramp cast and crew details

Debutant director Jains Nani is at the helm of K-Ramp. The pooja ceremony, held on Monday, was graced by renowned producer Dil Raju as the chief guest. He was joined by producer Anil Sunkara and directors Vijay Kanakamedala, Ram Abbaraju, VI Anand, Yadhu Vamsi, and others.

The title logo, featuring a figure, a medicine bottle, and a football, has sparked curiosity and intrigue. With the story still shrouded in mystery, the title poster has become a hot topic of discussion. Yukti Tareja plays the female lead in this film.

Chaitan Bharadwaj is composing the music for the film, with cinematography handled by Sateesh Reddy Masam. Chota K. Prasad is the editor, and the film’s shooting is set to begin in the last week of February.

Meanwhile, Kiran Abbavaram is currently busy with his upcoming film Dibruba, scheduled for release on February 14, 2025. However, the film is carrying low buzz, and there are rumors that the romantic drama might get postponed. While an official confirmation is still awaited, speculation has been spreading rapidly.

The makers are in plans to release the film for Dussehra 2025. For now, K-Ramp is already creating a lot of hype on social media, thanks to its intriguing title. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
