The trailer for Mumbai Diaries 26/11 has been dropped by Amazon Prime Video and it will give you goosebumps from the word 'go'. The upcoming series is set against the backdrop of the 2008 Mumbai attacks wherein it shows the side of medical professionals who despite being taken hostages bravely treated the injured patients. The trailer features Mohit Raina and Konkona Sensharma who are senior doctors at the general hospital.

They are joined by three new resident doctors and on their first day at the job the shocking incident takes place. The trailer also gives a glimpse into the terrorist attacks which happened at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai and also how they killed several cops who tried to stop them with barricades and arms.

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 features an ensemble cast namely Sandesh Kulkarni, Satyajeet Dubey, Prakash Belawadi, Nitin Dondage, Mishal Raheja, Natasha Bharadwaj, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Late. Tejas Parvatkar, Gauri Balaji, Adithi Kalkunte, Harpreet Singh, Darshit Lahane, Karishma, Rishabh Arora, Divya Kalra, Naresh Kumar, Aishwarya Chaudhary, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Amit, Jairath, Myra Rajpal, Damini Sinha, Simraan Panjwani, Teesta Keshwar, Ajaz Khan, Ruksana Behruzi, Vedika Nawani, Dawood, Sucharita Juvekar, Damini Sinha, Mohini Sharma, Aditi Gulati, Martin Jishil, Princy Sudhakaran, Vasundhara Kaul, Vikram Kapadia, Akshar Kothari, Jyoti Kapoor and Harssh Singh.

Talking about the premise, the makers described it as "Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is a fictional edge-of-the-seat medical drama that is set against the terrifying, unforgettable night that, on one hand, ravaged the city, but on the other hand also united its people and strengthened their resolve to stand resolutely against any adversity. The series is an account of events that unfold in a government hospital and explore the challenges faced by the medical staff at the hospital as well as other first responders across the city of Mumbai while dealing with a monumental crisis."

The much-awaited series is directed by Nikkhil Advani and Nikhil Gonsalves while Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment are the producers.

The series is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from September 9, 2021.
