Kuberaa day one collections

Kuberaa, one of the most-awaited films this season, is now screening in theatres across the globe from June 20, 2025. The social drama has taken a great start with positive word of mouth. While the Tamil collections are not that great, the Telugu version is showing great promise.

Kuberaa takes a decent start on day one

As per the latest trade experts, Kuberaa is estimated to make ₹19 crore gross on day one of its release. This number can go up a bit, and the final figures will be out soon. Kuberaa is a pan-India film but was shot in Telugu and Tamil, and the majority of the collection has come from the Telugu version.

As word of mouth is slowly spreading across states, the bookings for Kuberaa have only improved in the Telugu states. Sekhar Kammula has directed the film, and he is known for making soft films in his career. He has made a complete U-turn from his usual genre and narrated a social drama in a solid manner.

Nagarjuna films to stream on OTTplay

Dhanush is being lauded for his outstanding performance in the film, and all those who saw Kuberaa say that he will win yet another National Award for his portrayal of a beggar. Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead in this film, which also features Nagarjuna in an important role.

This is the first time he has teamed up with Sekhar Kammula, and in fact, he has played a character role rather than the lead. When it comes to the US, Kuberaa has started slow, but as the weekend kicks in, the occupancy is expected to grow.

Weekend collections will be a key for Kuberaa

Back in India, the Hindi version has started on a very dull note. The next two days will be key for the film, especially in the Telugu states where the film is primarily targeted. Sunil Narang has spent a lot of money, and a chunk of it has been recovered through the digital rights, which have been bagged by Amazon Prime Video.

With no other big film releasing until June 27, 2025, Kuberaa will enjoy a clean run at the box office.
