Karan and Nandini return to the Virani house after they find out about Mihir and Tulsi’s breakup. Karan lashes out at his father for repeating his mistake after learning about the latter’s infidelity. He calls himself living proof of his ‘illicit affair’ that once broke Tulsi several years ago.
Karan and Nandini come to meet Tulsi. Karan tries to console Tulsi and also requests her to leave India and move out to the UK with them. However, Tulsi rejects his offer and tells him that she may leave the Virani mansion but can never leave her country and cultural roots.
Noina comes to Angad’s chawl, where Tulsi is staying. She then tries to apologise to Tulsi for loving Mihir. However, Tulsi gives her a befitting reply and tells her that she doesn’t care about Noina or whatever she thinks but is only hurt because of Mihir. Later, Angad also lashes out at Noina for ruining his parents' relationship. He blames her for taking her mother’s place.
When Tulsi doesn’t return from the washroom, everybody gets tense, and Angad goes inside the rooms to check her bags. Both Karan and Angad are surprised to see that Tulsi is nowhere to be found and instead left a handwritten letter for her children and family. In the heartwarming note, Tulsi addresses her beloved children and asks for forgiveness for leaving them but also reveals that she is going to live her own life where her identity is not anyone’s shadow. Tulsi embarks on a new quest to embrace her true self and boards a train to an unknown location.
Tulsi is set to live a new life where she promises to rediscover herself. Meanwhile, the upcoming episode will also feature Noina and Mihir living together in the Shanti Niketan house. Noina also reprises Tulsi’s iconic introductory theme in the Kyunki series.
